Thank you for playing Meldo Blocks. This Privacy Policy explains what information is collected when you use the App, why it is collected, who it is shared with, and the choices and rights you have. Meldo Blocks is a free, ad-supported number puzzle game developed by an individual developer and intended for a general (all-ages) audience.

By downloading or using Meldo Blocks, you agree to the practices described in this Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, please do not use the App.

1. Summary (Plain-Language Overview)

Meldo Blocks is free and supported by advertising served through Google AdMob.
We do not ask you to create an account, and we do not intentionally collect your name, email address, phone number, or other directly identifying personal information inside the App.
The Google Mobile Ads (AdMob) SDK built into the App automatically collects certain data to show ads, measure performance, and prevent fraud. This includes your device's Advertising ID, device and diagnostic information, in-app activity, and approximate location derived from your IP address.
This data is shared with Google (our advertising partner) and is used to serve ads (including personalized ads where permitted) and to keep the ad system working safely.
You can reset or delete your Advertising ID and opt out of personalized ads at any time using your device settings (see Section 6).
We do not knowingly collect personal information from children (see Section 7).

2. Who Is Responsible for Your Data

Meldo Blocks is published under the name Meldo Apps by Arun Shankar, an individual developer. For any privacy questions, requests, or complaints, contact us at shankararun20@gmail.com. We are the party responsible for the data described in this policy (the "data controller"), and where third-party SDKs collect data through the App, we disclose that collection as our own.

3. Information We (and Our Partners) Collect

We do not require registration and do not directly gather profile information. However, the advertising technology embedded in the App collects the categories of data below. Because Google Play treats data collected by third-party SDKs as the developer's own collection, we disclose the following:

3.1 Data collected automatically via Google AdMob

We do not collect precise (GPS) location, contacts, photos, microphone or camera data, files, or the content of your messages.

3.2 Data we do NOT collect in this version

No account, login, name, or email is collected inside the App.
No in-app purchase or payment information is collected in this version. (If in-app purchases are added in the future, any payment is handled by Google Play, and this policy and our Data safety disclosure will be updated accordingly.)
No user-generated content, chat, or social features are present in this version.

4. How We Use the Information

The information described above is used to:

Display advertisements within the App (both personalized and non-personalized, subject to your consent and settings).
Measure and analyze ad and app performance (for example, how ads perform and how the game is used).
Diagnose crashes and technical problems to keep the App stable.
Detect, prevent, and address fraud, abuse, security issues, and policy or legal compliance matters.

We do not sell your directly identifying personal information. Advertising-related data sharing with Google, as described below, may be considered "sharing" or "selling" under certain laws such as the CCPA; see Section 9 for your rights.

Google AdMob / Google Mobile Ads SDK

Meldo Blocks uses Google AdMob to display rewarded and interstitial ads. To do this, the Google Mobile Ads SDK collects and shares the data categories listed in Section 3 with Google LLC and, where applicable, its advertising partners. Google acts as our advertising provider and processes this data to serve and measure ads and to protect the ad system from fraud and abuse.

We may also disclose information if required to do so by law, regulation, legal process, or an enforceable governmental request, or to protect the rights, property, or safety of our users or the public.

6. Advertising, Personalized Ads, and Your Choices

Ads in Meldo Blocks may be personalized based on the Advertising ID and related data, where permitted. You are in control of this:

Reset or delete your Advertising ID (Android):

Settings → Google → Ads (or Settings → Privacy → Ads), then choose Reset advertising ID or Delete advertising ID.
Enabling "Opt out of Ads Personalization" (or deleting the Advertising ID) tells apps and Google to stop using that identifier for personalized advertising. You will still see ads, but they will be non-personalized.

European Economic Area, UK, and Switzerland (GDPR consent): Where required, the App uses Google's User Messaging Platform (UMP) consent flow to ask for your consent before showing personalized ads and using related data. You may accept or decline, and you can change or withdraw your choice as offered by the in-app consent controls.

California and other US states: You may exercise choices regarding the "sale" or "sharing" of your data for advertising (see Section 9).

Meldo Blocks has an all-ages theme, but it is not directed to children and is intended for users aged 13 and older. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under the age of 13 (or under the applicable age of digital consent in your region, such as 16 in parts of the EEA under GDPR-K).

Because the App serves standard Google AdMob advertising (which is not part of a "self-certified ads for families" program), it is configured for a general/teen-and-older audience rather than a child audience. We do not knowingly:

collect personal information from children in violation of the U.S. Children's Online Privacy Protection Act (COPPA), or
process children's data in violation of the EU/UK GDPR child-consent rules ("GDPR-K").

If you are a parent or guardian and believe your child under the applicable age has provided personal information through the App, please contact us at shankararun20@gmail.com and we will take reasonable steps to delete that information.

8. Data Retention and Deletion

We do not maintain our own user accounts or a personal-data database for this version of the App, so there is no server-side profile for us to store or delete.
Google AdMob retains advertising-related data in accordance with Google's Privacy Policy and its data retention practices. We do not control Google's retention periods.
Because the data is tied to your Advertising ID, you can effectively reset the advertising profile at any time by resetting or deleting your Advertising ID in your device settings (see Section 6). Deleting the App also stops any further collection by the App on your device.

9. Your Privacy Rights

Depending on where you live, you may have some or all of the following rights regarding your personal information:

Access – request confirmation of, and access to, the data processed about you.
Correction – request correction of inaccurate data.
Deletion – request deletion of your data.
Objection / restriction – object to or restrict certain processing, including for personalized advertising.
Withdraw consent – withdraw consent previously given (for example, via the in-app consent controls, or by resetting your Advertising ID).
Opt out of "sale"/"sharing" – under the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA/CPRA) and similar US state laws, you may opt out of the sharing of personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising by opting out of ad personalization and resetting/deleting your Advertising ID as described in Section 6.
Non-discrimination – we will not deny you the App or provide a different experience for exercising your rights.

To exercise any of these rights, contact us at shankararun20@gmail.com. We may need to verify your request, and we will respond within the timeframe required by applicable law. Because much of the data is processed by Google, we may also direct you to Google's privacy tools where appropriate.

10. Data Security

We take reasonable measures to protect information handled through the App. All data collected by the Google Mobile Ads SDK is encrypted in transit using industry-standard TLS/HTTPS. However, no method of transmission over the internet or method of electronic storage is 100% secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

11. International Data Transfers

The App and its advertising partner Google operate globally. Your information — including the data categories described in Section 3 — may be transferred to, stored, and processed in countries other than the one you live in, including the United States, where data-protection laws may differ from those in your jurisdiction. Where such transfers occur from the EEA, UK, or Switzerland, Google relies on appropriate safeguards (such as Standard Contractual Clauses) as described in Google's Privacy Policy. By using the App, you understand that your information may be processed in these locations.

12. Changes to This Privacy Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time — for example, if we add features such as in-app purchases, analytics, or Play Games Services, or to reflect changes in law or our practices. When we make material changes, we will update the "Effective date" at the top of this policy and post the revised version at the same URL. Your continued use of the App after an update means you accept the revised policy. We encourage you to review this page periodically.

Data Deletion Request — Meldo Blocks

Meldo Blocks is a free, ad-supported puzzle game. It does not use accounts or logins, and the developer does not run a server that stores your personal profile. The only data collected is gathered automatically by Google AdMob to show ads (the device Advertising ID, device/diagnostic data, in-app activity, and approximate location derived from your IP address).

Because there is no developer-side account, you can remove your data yourself in seconds, and you may also send us a deletion request.

How to request / perform data deletion

1. Reset or delete your Advertising ID (stops ad profiling immediately):

Android Settings → Google → Ads (or Settings → Privacy → Ads) → Reset advertising ID or Delete advertising ID.

2. Remove all local game data:

Uninstall Meldo Blocks (or Android Settings → Apps → Meldo Blocks → Storage → Clear data). This erases the on-device save (scores, diamonds, progress).

3. Request deletion of ad-related data held by Google:

Email shankararun20@gmail.com with the subject “Data deletion – Meldo Blocks”. We will help route your request and, where applicable, direct you to Google’s privacy controls at https://myaccount.google.com/data-and-privacy. You may also submit requests directly to Google, our advertising partner.

We respond to deletion requests within the time required by applicable law (e.g., GDPR/CCPA).

What is deleted vs. kept

Retention: The developer stores no personal data on its own servers, so there is no developer-side retention period. Local data lives only on your device until you delete it. Any residual ad data is retained and deleted by Google under Google’s policies.
